24racetan Rules: A Plain Reading of the Terms
What follows is a summary of the operator's own rulebook, published as Version 1.2 and last revised in September 2017. The original text sits on the 24racetan site and takes precedence over any summary, including this one.
Last updated: January 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
Signing up binds you to these rules, and so does every transaction you make afterwards. The company, which calls itself racetan.COM in its own document, reserves the right to change them whenever it likes and without telling you in advance. Data is handled separately under the Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility
The minimum age is 21, not the usual 18. A credit check may be run when you apply, documents can be demanded afterwards, and the account is suspended while the question stands open. The USA, France, the Netherlands and the Dutch Caribbean islands are refused outright, and access from any other territory can be restricted at will. The operator may also decline to open an account, or close one without explanation, sending back the balance once payout costs are deducted.
3. Your Account
- One deposit account per customer, opened with details that are true and kept current.
- Username, password and security answers are yours to protect. Bets placed with them are yours as well.
- You may not act for another person, deposit criminal proceeds, or use a card you have no authority to use.
4. Deposits and Withdrawals
Deposit floors: 35 GBP by credit or debit card, 35 GBP through a Moneybookers wallet, 50 GBP by bank transfer. Daily ceilings: 3000 GBP by card, 10000 GBP by Moneybookers or bank transfer, or the equivalent elsewhere. The account currency is picked at sign-up and frozen by the first deposit, and no interest accrues on a balance. Withdrawal requires that bets equal to the deposit have been placed and settled, with anything under odds of 1.20 discounted. Payouts arrive by bank transfer or Moneybookers.
5. Bonuses and Promotions
No standing welcome offer exists in the rules. Where a promotion is running, its own conditions are what bind you, and they sit alongside these terms rather than inside them. The Bonus page describes how such offers usually work, without pretending any particular one is live.
6. Betting and Game Rules
Stakes start at 0.50 EUR or 0.50 USD. Anything over 100 EUR or 100 USD can be refused unless it was requested by telephone and authorised by email, with a code issued per bet. Credit bets are not taken, bets are accepted online only, and a market closes at kick-off or when the operator shuts it in play. Displayed odds are indicative: the price at acceptance is the one that counts, and obvious transcription errors can be voided after the event. Related selections cannot be combined in one multiple. Winnings are untaxed, and every time shown on the site is UK time.
7. Responsible Gaming
Stake, deposit, loss and time limits are all available through customer support, and an account can be suspended temporarily or permanently at your request. The Responsible Gaming page explains how to ask.
8. Prohibited Conduct
Bets from customers acting together as a syndicate can be voided, as can repeat bets designed to slip past stake or payout ceilings. Where an event shows signs of fixing, or where inside information appears to be in play, winnings can be frozen or withheld.
9. Limitation of Liability
The service is offered as it is. The operator says it cannot track the law in every country, that knowing the rules where you live is your job, and that it bears no responsibility for gambling where it is unlawful. Disputes over how a bet was settled go through the IBAS arbitration route named in the rules.
10. Changes to These Terms
Amendments can be made at any time and without notice. Carrying on using the service counts as accepting whichever version is current.
